It’s another gorgeous day on the Gulf Waterway: full sun and 75. Oh, yeah, and it’s blowing a steady 17, gusting to 25, all from the south.
That wind makes it a short day for Little Red, who answers the call at 0830 and gets Steadfast out to the Cortez bridge in time for the regular opening at 0900. From there it’s pretty much a straight shot down the waterway to Sarasota Bay and a safe mooring in time for lunch.
You know all about Sarasota from the report a couple of weeks ago so no need to repeat. Marina Jack may be a good spot to watch the game tonight, or O’Leary’s over on Island Park. Whatever, may the figurative sons of “Babe” Parilli prevail in Phoenix.
